What Students Say

  • Working with Kai has been an incredible experience. You can immediately tell she brings many years of expertise to every session. Her depth of knowledge shows in how she teaches, demonstrates, and supports her students.

What really sets her apart is her ability to adapt movements for each individual. She understands that everyone’s body is different, and she takes the time to adjust techniques based on that. That level of attention makes learning feel both accessible and empowering, no matter your starting point.

I’ve felt consistently supported, challenged in the right ways, and confident in my progress thanks to her thoughtful and experienced approach.

    H.H.

  • I have been taking classes with Kaitlyn (Kai in Wonderland) for over two years. I love aerial silks and aerial hoop, it’s the most fun I have had exercising. The class caters to a lot of different objectives — I go for exercise, building strength, and for the accountability of a group class setting.

The classes are “participate to your comfort level.” Kai will often start with a basic move then show progressions and add-ons that are a higher difficulty level — it makes the classes accessible to novices but also challenging for people who do the sport more often. There’s never pressure to do a move, but there is always friendly encouragement when you want to try something new. The class is friendly to all body types and Kai will fit the teaching and technique instructions to the individual student.

I drive over 50 minutes from Chatham to Belle River/Tecumseh to take classes with Kai because she is a certified instructor, she knows how to teach adults, and because the space is private for the class. Many other classes are geared to children and are from dance teachers who took a short online class to teach aerial — Kai has a circus style background and actively performs the aerial arts herself. She is not just a teacher, she is a professional. I highly recommend taking a class with her.

Another bonus: the payment structure is pay-as-you-go, and you can try for a month or two to see if you like it, without being saddled with committing to a whole semester. Many competitors force you to commit to a semester.

Before You Train — Studio Policies

  • What should I wear?

Fitted clothing that covers the armpits, midriff, and backs of the knees. No zippers, buttons, snaps, or clasps that can catch apparatus. Long hair securely tied back. Training is barefoot or in studio-approved foot coverings only.

  • When should I arrive?

Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in, warm up, and remove jewelry, watches, or sharp accessories. A signed waiver is required before your first class.

  • What if I have an injury or condition?

Please disclose anything that might affect your ability to complete activities safely — before or at the start of class — so instruction and spotting can be adjusted. Listen to instructor cues and ask for a spot when learning new skills.

  • Can I work on skills outside of class?

Self-teaching, or teaching skills to other students, must be approved and supervised by a coach. Do not attempt to perform skills until you have been fully trained to do them safely.

  • What's the cancellation policy?

Late cancellations (within 24 hours of class) may be charged as attended. Contact the studio if you are unwell — we'd much rather rebook you than have you push through.

Thank you for helping keep the space safe and welcoming for everyone.
